  1. WHAT IS IT?
  2.  
  3. WebFerret is by far THE fastest way to find anything on the Web.
  4. The steps are simple: 
  5.  
  6. 1) Fire up WebFerret from the Start -> Find sub-menu. 
  7. 2) Enter a keyword on which to execute the search and hit Enter 
  8.    (or click the Find Now button) 
  9.  
  10. WebFerret will query all configured search engines simultaneously. 
  11. Results that are returned (often within a second or two) can be acted 
  12. upon immediately.

  14. TO INSTALL WEBFERRET
  15.  
  16.    1. Click on START
  17.    2. Click on RUN
  18.    3. Type in X:\WFerret\WFerret.exe 
  19.            Where X is the drive letter for your CD-ROM
  20.    4. Click on OK
  21.    5. Follow the on-screen instructions
  22.  
  23. NOTE:  You may be prompted to enter Firewall or Http Proxy information 
  24. during the installation.  If you are unsure regarding this information 
  25. then do not make any entries on this page and simply continue.  If 
  26. WebFerret does not find any search engines when you attempt to use it, 
  27. then follow these steps:

  29.    1. Click on View 
  30.    2. Click on Options 
  31.    3. Select the Proxy Tab  
  32.  
  33. For the exact information to enter on this tab, you need to contact your 
  34. Internet Provider or your network administrator.
